Abstract

This article deals with the problems of lexical analysis of initials and acronyms in English slang. It is obvious that initials and acronyms are important parts of English lexicology. There are a lot of types of initials and acronyms among English slang words. So, lexical and semantic features of initial and acronymic slang words are discussed in the article.
