Abstract
The article analyzes the process of informatization of society as a unique element of civilization. As a result of modern development, opinions were expressed about fundamental changes taking place in the world of information. Today, the processes related to the acceleration of information flow and its impact on the system of social relations have been analyzed. Issues of influence of modern civilization on human mind and thinking are studied separately.
